Because, unlike my machine that contains three variations of Street Fighter II, the Street Fighter II Big Blue Arcade Machine features Street Fighter II: Championship Edition, Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Darkstalkers, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Darkstalkers 3, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Knights of the Round, Eco Fighters, Capcom Sports Club, and Muscle Bomber Duo. While I thought my feelings of inferiority would come from Tastemakers releasing a Street Fighter Alpha cabinet and knowing I should have gone with that over my Street Fighter II machine, I now instead get to feel said inferiority from a better Street Fighter II machine. Her smile hides the crushing realization that it is, in fact, not “Championship Edition” Street Fighter ll “Big Blue” Pac-Man, the proper way to play the game. Sadly, from what I can tell, still no option for speed hacked Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, we get Galaga ’88, Galaxian, Dig Dug, Dig Dug II, Mappy, Rally-X, Rolling Thunder, Rompers, Tower of Druaga, and King and Balloon. Pac-Man / Galaga Class of ’81 Arcade Machine isn’t the first time the duo have been together in an Arcade1Up cabinet, but it is the first time both have gotten equal billing like that proper arcade machine.Īnd, a big benefit to this model over the previous releases is that it comes with a much bigger selection of games.
